Francis Kaya
Francis K. Kaya passed away on December 13, 2014 at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 73. Born on May 28, 1941, in Wailuku, Maui, he was a mechanic with the State of Hawaii.
Preceded in death by his wife, Barbara S. Kaya, and parents, Jitsuji and Agnes Kaya.
He is survived by his son, Kalen Kaya of Lawai; daughter, Tracey (Ric) Ochoco of Lawai; six grandchildren, David Ochoco, Courtney Ochoco, Keenan Kaya, Crysten-Kaori “Ori” Kaya, Thaine Ochoco, and Kestle-Lynn “Noe” Kaya ; three brothers, Dennis Kaya, Richard (Muriel) Kaya, and Robert (Eleanor) Kaya, all of Oahu; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family for a celebration of life on January 3, 2015 at the Kalaheo Missionary Church from 9am to 10am. Services to begin at 10 am with lunch to follow. Family suggests casual attire and are open to flowers.

Harold Naumu
Harold “Hal” Wallace Naumu of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 19, 2014 at the age of 59. Born on January 2, 1955 in Lihue, Kauai, he worked in the hospitality industry.
Preceded in death by his father, Harold Aukai Naumu and brother-in-law, Anthony Balocan.
He is survived by his mother Amy Shinagawa Naumu of Lihue; sisters Doreen (Chris) Tamura of Kapaa; Laureen Naumu-Balocan of Koloa; brother Robb Naumu of Lihue; nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Visitation from 10:30 AM, services at 11 AM.

Helen Dotimas
Helen Lahapa Kamakaeha Kualu Dotimas died on December 20, 2014 at the Garden Island Health Care in Lihue, at the age of 89. Born on March 15, 1925 in Waimea, Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Dotimas; mother, Helen Liawahine Haupu Kualu, father, William Kualu; three sons, Juan Ipac, Lawrence and David Dotimas; three brothers, William and Abraham Kualu, and Joseph Kaili; son-in-law Herbert Callejo; and three sisters, Helen Yadao, Emily Baclayon, and Agnes Mahinai; daughter-in-law, Luana Dotimas.
She is survived by her four sons, Gilbert Dotimas, Tony (Donna) Dotimas, Mark (Lucille) Dotimas, Jerome (Paula) Dotimas; four daughters, Aileen (Bill) Farias, Gloria (John) Callejo, Gladys (Keokolo) Kapoi, Avis Hao; daughter-in-laws, Shirley Ipac, Kareen Bonachita, Jean Abreu; two sisters, Bernice Ragragola, Becky (Doronio) Kualu; 50 grandchildren; 114 great-grandchildren; 24 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the Kalaheo Ward of Latter Day Saints at 9AM. Services will begin 11AM. Inurnment at the Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery to follow. Flowers are welcomed.

Luciano Salud
Luciano Oba Salud of Hanamaulu, died on December 23, 2014 at the age of 91. Born on January 6, 1923, in Pasuguin Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a boiler room operator with Lihue Plantation Ltd.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Juanita Salud; parents, Estefania and Benigno Salud; and survived by his wife, Anita Salud; son, Romeo Salud of California; two daughters, Lucita (Westley) Kam of Oahu, JoAnn Salud of Lihue; four grandchildren, Brooke Salud, Cullen Salud, Taylor Salud Samiano, Marissa Kam; sister, Juliana (Fermin) Ancheta of Philippines; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the St. Michael’s and All Angeles Episcopal Church. Visitation will begin at 10AM – 12 PM services to follow and burial will be held at Kauai Memorial Gardens. The family suggests casual attire and are open to flowers.

Adrien Malina
Adrien “Eddie Cowboy” Malina of Lihue passed away on December 20, 2014 at the age of 58. He was born on May 21, 1956 in Lihue and the owner of Malina Ranch.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Henry and Leila Malina of Nawiliwili and maternal grandparents Richard and Antonina Lee of Waimea Valley.
He is survived by his parents Norton and Eveline Malina, Spouse, Marylou Mendes, Brothers-Norton Malina Jr. (Joyce) and Lee Malina, Daughters-Toni (Royden) Malina, Summer (David) Malina, Leinani (Marshall) Malina and Oniki Malina, Grandchildren, Tori Tanka, Shayna Malina, Kaya, Koen & Kyli Camara. Numerous aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2014 from 10-1 at Maalo Road (Wailua Falls). Family requests hunter orange shirts or casual attire.
