Christina Gabriel, manager of the Marriott’s Waiohai Beach Club in Poipu, said they are not just people, but part of the community.
She and Donna Rivera (she’s got a relative playing basketball at Kauai High School) welcomed Clayton Sui (he said the gifts are going out now — no waiting) and other representatives of agencies servicing people in need Friday during the distribution of Angel Tree Ministries holiday gifts. Kudos to the Waiohai ohana for the big hearts — especially during this holiday season.
Brian Haraguchi said they may not have won the door contest with their Green Christmas entry, but Jenny Saguid said there are other ways to help by voting since the gingerbread houses start coming out now.
