Dorothy Ornellas
Dorothy L. Ornellas of Kapaa, Kauai, Passed away on November 2, 2014 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 85. Born on August 3, 1929 in Lihue, Kauai, she was a Homemaker.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Dorothy Nui, daughter Jodine Silva and her sister Angline Maka.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Ornellas, Jr.; 3) Daughters: Sheila (William) Richbow, Cozie Whitfield, Carlene (Roland) Watson; 4) Sons: Joseph David Ornellas, Mathew Ornellas, Quintin (Alma) Ornellas, Milton (Debbie) Ornellas, 22) Grandchildren, 31) Great grandchildren, 4) Brothers: Peter (Yvonne) Yray, William (Rio) Yray, Gilbert Yray, Alexander Yray; 1) Sister: Lilian (Patrick) Pauline. Numerous nieces, nephews , cousins & friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday November 15, 2014 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 10:00 am to 10:45 am. where services will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens will be at 1:30 PM.

Kiyoshi Ueda
Kiyoshi Ueda of Waimea, died on November 11, 2014 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. Born to Tomezo and Toyo Ueda on April 22, 1922, in Waimea, he was a Taro farmer & a U.S. Army Veteran.
Kiyoshi is preceded in death by his wife Emily Ueda, son Akinobu, sisters, Misao Ueda, Clara Ueda, and Sadako Kinter.
He is survived by his sister, Ann (Hank) Nishikawa of Lihue, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held on November 17, 2014 with visitation at 4pm and services to follow at 4:30pm at the Waimea Hongwanji. Family suggests casual attire.

Rochelle Winston
Rochelle “Shelle” Winston of Kaneohe, Hawaii formerly of Kapaa, Kauai passed away on September 24, 2014 at the age of 46.
She is survived by her companion Norbert Bujak; sons, Kirk Kruzan, Jr., Joshua Silva and daughter, Cassandra Winston; Mother, Bonnie Salonia, grandmother Mary Rider; brothers, Christopher Salonia, Andrew Salonia, Thomas Salonia and Jeffery Salonia, Aaron Vigil, Kim Hechtl and 4 grandchildren.

Carol Medeiros
Carol Ann Medeiros, 75, passed away at her home in Lihue on November 5, 2014. She was born on January 19, 1939 in Dearborn, Michigan. As the owner of CALM, Inc. in Lihue, she prepared individual and small business tax returns for nearly 40 years.
Mrs. Medeiros is predeceased by her beloved husband, Patrick E. Medeiros and her parents, John Edward and Frances Elizabeth Nettenstrom.
Mrs. Medeiros is survived by her five daughters: Lori (Elpidio “Tony”) Cardenas of Lawai, Laura (Dave) Cristobal-Andersland of Kalaheo, Teri (Chad) Cataluna of Lihue, Ranae (Edward) Vicoy of Wailua, and Julie (Darren) Nygaard of Colorado, thirteen grandchildren: Michael (Achel) Cardenas, John Cardenas, Sean (Jessika) Cristobal, Nicole (Nelson) Cristobal, Nathan (Zenda) Ragragola, Chelane Weaver, Shaston (Deja) Oshiro, Shaidon (Justyce) Oshiro, Randy Vicoy, Eliza (Junior) Vicoy, Jenna (Ben) Vicoy, Charmonieux (John) Figueroa and Dominica Nygaard, and 11 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Ronald W. Nettenstrom, of St. Louis, Missouri, and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe beginning at 1:00 pm Saturday, November 22, 2014. Services will begin at 2:00 pm with inurnment to follow.
The family requests that flower arrangements be omitted, but lei are welcome. Aloha attire is suggested.
Claron Nakamatsu
Claron Nakamatsu of Kapaa, Kauai peacefully passed away on November 5, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving wife and son at his side at the age of 64. Born on March 4, 1950 in Lihu`e, Kauai he was retired from Aloha Airlines and recently retired from the United States Department of Agriculture at the Lihu`e Airport.
Preceded in death by his son Liloa, he is survived by his wife of 37 years Terri and his son Kahai.
He is also survived by his parents Yasu and Sue Nakamatsu, siblings Sheilah Miyake and Baron Nakamatsu, father and mother -in-law Clarence and Lydia Ludin, sister-in-law Pat Autele, brother-in-law Joel Ludin, and his two nieces, Michelle and Hayli.
A celebration of his life will be held at Breath of Life Christian Ministries in Lihue on Saturday November 22, 2014. Visit with the family from 9:00 to 10:00 am with services to follow.
