LIHUE — Subaru Hawaii announced the fourth year of its community-based “Share the Love” sales campaign. It will donate $250 for each new 2014 or 2015 Subaru vehicle sold from Nov. 1 to Dec. 31 to a group of local Kauai nonprofits: Kauai Humane Society and Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii. They will also donate to other Hawaii nonprofits; Hawaiian Humane Society, Maui Humane Society, Hawaii Island Humane Society and Hawaii Wildlife Fund.
In addition to raising funds for the nonprofit partners, the “Share the Love” sales campaign helps each local charity get their message out to the community.
“We are thrilled that Subaru has come to Kauai so we can have the opportunity to work with Subaru and participate in the Share the Love Program,” said Penny Cistaro, executive director, Kauai Humane Society. “We encourage people to participate in the program because Subaru is a company that demonstrates their commitment to the community they work in by giving back to it through helping their local nonprofits. It gives people an opportunity to donate to their cause and make a major purchase at the same time.”
For the past four years Subaru Hawaii has partnered with Hawaii nonprofits, donating more than $100,000 through the Subaru Hawaii’s “Share the Love” sales campaign.
