Happy birthday to Caley Caires who celebrated her birthday with her Kauai High School cheer sisters, winning the Kauai Interscholastic Federation cheer championship!
Kudos to Kauai High School athletic director Dino Pabre and his athletic department for hosting a great event — Leah Aiwohi even had husband Nathan out helping with the video duty.
Mark Bonilla (too bad they never had Jamba Orange Dream available) did a great job hosting the event. Mark, who helps with coaching at Kauai Gymnastics Academy, even took time to help the Pop Warner cheerleaders with some of their routines during the break.
Ambyr Mokiao-Lee of the state DOFAW was helping at the Kauai Landscape Industry Council’s Arbor Day Tree Giveaway and said the DOFAW annual sale is this Friday from 8 a.m. (gotta go early for the best selection) at the Pua Loke nursery.
