Storyteller Diane Ferlatte will be the featured artist at 12 selected public libraries in October and November, including two on Kauai.
The New Orleans native will visit the Lihue Public Library 2:30 p.m. Nov. 6 and share “Aesop: Alive and Well.” She will bring to life the fables and story of Aesop with music and song. Ferlatte will be at the Hanapepe Library at 6 that night and present “Haunted Bayou,” which she describes as “ghostly tales because spirits have souls, too.”
Ferlatte has earned numerous honors for her performances and all eight of her recordings have won awards.
