Stanley Wakayama
Stanley Mitsuo Wakayama of Wailua House Lots passed away at home on October 6, 2014, at the age of 89. He was born in Lihue, Kauai on February 20, 1925. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, Military Intelligence Service and retired from the Department of Water.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Shigeru Wakayama, Tadao Wakayama and Ernest Wakayama.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth; daughter, Laura Wakayama and son, Scot Wakayama of Wailua House Lots; two grandsons, Tyson (Chanelle) Wakayama of Wailua House Lots and Travis Wakayama of Honolulu; one great-grandson, Makoa Stanley Wakayama of Wailua House Lots; one brother, Jack (Florence) Wakayama of California; four sisters, Miyako Betty Yama of Kauai, Kate Watase of Oahu, Grace (Kenji) Munechika of Oahu, Irene (Jerry) Matsuda of Washington; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1, 2014, at Lihue Christian Church with visitation from 3:00 p.m. and services beginning at 3:30 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Wakayama family with arrangements.
Henry Azeka
Henry Norimi Azeka of Hanapepe, Kauai, died on October 18, 2014 at home at the age of 93. Born on April 24, 1921, in Hanalei, Kauai, he was a retired fireman with the County of Kauai and painter with Sadao Kakuda Painting.
Henry was the youngest sibling and is preceded in death by his parents, Sotaro and Matsuyo Azeka of Hanalei; three brothers, Hiroshi Azeka of Maui, Megumi Azeka of Hanalei and James Takemoto of Wailua; five sisters, Chie Takimoto of Sapporo, Japan, Shizuno Azeka of Hanalei, Ruth Hamada of Maui, Nancy Sugihara of Waimea and Eva Yasutake of Wailua.
Henry is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Kaauamo Azeka; son Malcolm (Trudy) Azeka of Hanapepe; four daughters, Haunani (Jeff) Seward of Hanapepe, Joy (Thomas) Canute of Hanapepe, Debra (Robert) Ruiz of Waimea, Romaine (William) Oliveira of Hana, Maui; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
Friends may visit with the family on November 1, 2014 at Garden Island Mortuary with visitation at 9AM and services to follow at 10AM.
Aloha attire is suggested and omit flowers. Leis will be accepted.

Clyde French
Clyde Alexander Palikaluhi French of Omao, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away on October 28, 2014 at the age of 92 at his residence in Omao. Born on May 23, 1922 in Honolulu, Oahu. He was a vice president for First Hawaiian Bank and treasurer for Brennecke’s Restaurant. He served in The United States Army Airforce.
Preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Margaret French, wives, Mavis & Nita French, grandson, Robert Dyck.
He is survived by his daughters, Iwalani (Brian) Dyck, Verdi, Nevada; Leilani (Flip) McDiarmid, Kailua, Oahu; son, Bob (Christine) French, Omao, Kauai; sister, Emma Lichota French, Kailua , Oahu, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Michael’ and All Angels Church, Lihue on Saturday November 29, 2014, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Family requests donations can be made to G.N. Wilcox Memorial Hospital and Kauai Hospice
