The Tropical Storm Watch for the City and County of Honolulu has been canceled, while Kauai County remains under a Tropical Storm Warning due to the storm’s proximity to the island of Niihau. A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect for Maui County, City and County of Honolulu and Kauai County. Bands of heavy rainfall, flash flooding, strong winds, high surf and coastal inundation is expected across the state through Monday.
Visitors and residents are encouraged to stay out of the ocean, avoid shorelines and other outdoor activities, and heed all warnings by state and county officials.
