Auditions for the act directed by Jennifer Downs will be held 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21 at the Puhi Theatrical Warehouse.
“The Last Five Years” is a musical about two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years.
The show’s unconventional structure has Cathy, the woman, telling her story backwards while Jamie, the man, tells his story chronologically; the two characters only meet once, at their wedding in the middle of the show.
Ages for those auditioning should be 20s to 30s. Voices are soprano and baritone. Auditioners should prepare a song from the show. To preview the songs, go to Music Theatre International. Sheet music is available on musicnotes.com.
