Nadia Troche was thrilled when could find “house things” at the Ross Dress for Less which celebrated its grand opening Friday at the Kukui Grove Center.
Congratulations to Ross store manager David Pulley and his ohana (next time you see cultural practitioner Laakea Therese, ask her about ‘hana’) on the new store.
Maureen Nuccio-Hiraga (Sager found a bunch of new doggie type goodies, including a new doggie toy) said we need to support stores like these who keep us home and give jobs (Tiana Mae Seguerre absolutely loves her job!) to our people.
Mahalo to off-Island (five from Kona?) Ross leaders for helping the Kukui Grove store off to a bang-up start.
Randy Francisco was there to watch Ross hand over sorely-needed funds to both the Kauai High School band, and the Boys & Girls Club, and still made it in time to visit Beth Tokioka and George Costa at the Kauai Made trade show where John and Daphne McClure were working with Eric Miura who was trying really hard to get the “best” Moloaa Bay coffee (how about that chocolate?).
