Registration for the Kauai Hongwanji Council Nembutsu Seminar, “Socially Engaged Shin Buddhism,” is being accepted at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission, or the West Kauai Hongwanji Mission.
There is a deadline of Oct. 15 to register for the Oct. 18 seminar at the Lihue Hongwanji Mission across the road from The Kapaia Stitchery, starting at 1 p.m.
Rev. Blayne Higa, born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island, will lead the seminar.
Registration fee is $10.
