LIHUE — Kauai High School’s boys bowling team and Kapaa High’s girls team repeated last week’s success and won Thursday’s Kauai Interscholastic Federation meet at Lihue Lanes.
The Red Raider boys scored 2,425 total points. Kapaa got 2,121 and Waimea got 2,014.
Kauai’s Ian Luis edged out Kapaa’s Caleb Keohohou by one point to record the night’s best single game score with 235 in Game 1.
The Warrior girls recorded 1,929 total game points, followed by Kauai with 1,820 and Waimea with 1,716.
Kauai’s Jaffia Ballesteros scored the best single-game score among the girls with 179 in Game 3.
The three school’s will meet again 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Lihue Lanes.
