LIHUE — The Elections Division of the Office of the County Clerk will begin mailing absentee ballots for the 2014 General Election on Wednesday, Oct. 8.
Only voters who submitted a properly completed absentee ballot application by Sept. 24, 2014 will be included in this initial mailing.
Voters submitting applications after Sept. 24th will be mailed a ballot shortly after the initial ballot mailing. The deadline to apply for an absentee mail ballot is Oct. 28.
Individuals wishing to register to vote in the upcoming General Election must submit a properly completed Affidavit on Application for Voter Registration by the registration deadline on Monday, Oct. 6.
