LIHUE — Craig DeCosta, Daniel Hempey, and Greg Meyers will each be known as Judge, effective Oct. 1.
The three were sworn in as per diem judges for the District Court for the Fifth Circuit by Judge Randal Valenciano, DeCosta getting his Oath of Office administered on Monday with Hempey and Meyers being both sworn in Tuesday afternoon.
“This had to be swift,” Valenciano said. “Their terms are effective Oct. 1.”
