LIHUE – Health and wellness organizations are invited to reach out to the community at the county’s eighth annual Health and Wellness Fair.
The event is scheduled on from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
Organized by Life’s Choices Kauai, the Health and Wellness Fair is being held in September in recognition of National Recovery Month, Women’s Health Month and Suicide Prevention Week.
“I encourage health and wellness groups to join us at the fair where residents will be able to obtain information on a broad spectrum of health concerns in a central location,” said Life’s Choices Kauai Coordinator Theresa Koki.
Organizations that are interested in signing up for the health fair should contact Life’s Choices at 241-4926 or by email at volunteerstation@kauai.gov. The deadline is Friday.
