Kauai High School bowling team members were lucky the little ones like Kaden Sasaki and Iliana Kealoha were so eager to help with the Molokai Sweet Bread pick up Tuesday during the team’s practice.
Frances Morden was excited the girls picked up their first season win by just a half point, and Kauai boys (Ian Luis was packing up all the sweet bread heading for the Big Kmart customers) have the KIF title to defend.
Marilyn Luis had to go deliver the sweet bread, but had time to remind people about the annual Safety Day in October at the Big Kmart store. Representatives of organizations dealing with the safety of youngsters (Sharron Weber and Tire Warehouse is doing the tire pressure checking since we don’t have Sears, anymore) can check with Marilyn who said there is still a little space left for vendors.
OK, time to go check out the Kauai High School centennial — the carnival starts at noon (the girls volleyball game moves to Waimea because of the dance).
