Caridad “Carrie” Asierto Dulatre passed away on July 31, 2014 at Pali Momi Hospital Aiea, Hawaii at the age of 84. She was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Preceded in death by her husband Mauro C. Dulatre, father Julian Asierto, mother Felisberta A. Asierto, daughter Virginia A. Dulatre, son Alexander A. Dulatre, granddaughter Michelle Noji, grandson Justin Keli`i, sister’s Romana Asierto (Divencio) Estranero, Matilda Asierto (Alfredo) Argiante and Agustina Asierto (Gaspar) Ribultan.
She is survived by her children, Linda (Richard) Henderson of Seattle, Washington, Belma (Alfonso) Mapalo of San Antonio, Texas, Jovenal (Deborah) Dulatre of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Bernadette (Val) Mapalo of San Antonio, Texas, Mario (Rose) Dulatre of Lihue, Kauai, Mary Ann (Alexander) Dulatre of Mililani, Hawaii, Arturo (Antoinette Perry) Dulatre of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Elmer Dulatre of Pearl City, Hawaii, 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 5:30pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe, Hawaii and Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Pearl City, Hawaii, with burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawaii.

Filomena Magdirila Hashitate (aka Fely and Minang) formerly of Honolulu, Lihue and Kekaha passed away at Hale Kupuna in Omao on Saturday August 23, 2014. Born on August 3, 1938 in Honolulu. She was a retired proprietor of Fely’s Barber Shop, Shells of Hawaii, Kauai’s Hidden Treasures and JJ Ohana Gift Shop.
She was preceded in death by parents Domingo and Mary Magdirila, husband Jack Hashitate and sister Dolly Volk. Survived by son Gerald Armitage of Alabama and daughter Gale Sagucio (Bryan Maeda) of Hanapepe, 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family from 5pm to 9pm Friday September 5, 2014. Services begin at 6 pm at the Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa.
