The Kauai Youth Basketball Association and the County of Kauai announced the return of the Kalakaua Basketball Clinic, featuring coach Dennis Agena.
The clinic runs Oct. 9-11 and is $25 per player and open to boys and girls in grades 5-12. It will be held at the Bernice Hundley Gym on the campus of Kapaa High School from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. In order to maximize the learning opportunity, it is recommended that participants have some experience and attend all three days of the clinic.
Participants are asked to bring a basketball, basketball shoes and proper hoops attire. Completed registration and entry fees should be mailed to Kauai Youth Basketball Association, ATTN: Karen Matsumoto, P.O. Box 682, Lawai, HI 96765.
Registration will be accepted until Oct. 4, or when all spaces are filled, whichever comes first.
