Congratulations to Ed and Cynthia Justus of the Talk Story Bookstore on yet another award! This time it was the No. 37 designation of the “Top 50 Fastest Growing Businesses, plus 15” presented by the Pacific Business News.
Joining Ed and Cynthia, Sandy Poenhelt of The Right Slice (she has a tent outside Talk Story during Art Night Fridays), The Shrimp Station (they always win something in the Waimea Lighted Parade judging) and Koloa Rum are some of the other Kauai companies making the cut.
You just never know what you’ll find on a stroll on Hanapepe Road — Celeste, aka Da Boss of Talk Story, found a new capnapping spot in a shopping basket; Eric Honma is enjoying being a full-time grandpa and Gretchen Isidoro, Pepita Arizo and Zollins Arengo of San Francisco, California were able to get lunch at Bobbie’s before she closed.
OK, time to go check out the farm fair.
