Spots are available for vendors during the Garden Isle Artisan Fair, “Under the Big Tent,” from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 9 at the Kapaa Beach Park.
Judy Webb, who coordinates several craft fairs throughout the year, said a lot of the vendors from the historic Koloa Plantation Days park celebration will be at the Kapaa event.
“We have a great selection of handcrafted products from more than 40 of Kauai’s finest artisans,” Webb said. “We still have some spaces left for others who want to display their work.”
The artisan fair, free for the public, will feature photography, jewelry, aloha wear, palm bark basketry, wood carvings, photo albums, pounded mulberry bark, local fruit jellies and sauces, soaps, candles, original oil paintings, table linens and more amidst an atmosphere of live Tahitian drumming and grilled shish kabobs and Masa’s Shave Ice.
