Good luck to Kumu Leinaala Pavao-Jardin who will be leading her keiki to the Queen Liliuokalani Keiki Hula on Wednesday!
Kumu Leinaala was helping with the Kuai Logo Shop sales when Ka Aha Hula O Halauaola, or the fourth World Conference on Hula, opened at Kauai Community College, the Kawaikini Public Charter School and Island School earlier in the week.
Kumu Maka Herrod said there is much people can enjoy — especially the music and hula series which runs from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday.
Congratulations to Carey and Ray Alston of Idaho Springs, Colorado who adopted Clutch from the Kauai Humane Society while honeymooning here!
Winton Term was busy helping with the Salvation Army Summer Day Camp, enjoying how similar to Micronesia Kauai is.
He said the biggest difference is in Micronesia, he lived right next to the ocean, and there are no mountains there.
