The Kauai Harley-Davidson shop in Puhi is the site for the Show N’ Shine bike and car show hosted by Koa Puna on Sunday.
Koa Puna, who will be hosting a Poker Run Saturday from the Hanamaulu Beach Park, welcomes trucks, cars, and bikes for a $5 entry fee with trophies for all winners.
Registration takes place at 11 a.m. with the show, which will include a Wheel Stand Race and a Burnout Contest, starting at noon.
“This should be real interesting,” said Bill Hill, manager of the Kauai Harley-Davidson. “People always like to see smoking tires.”
Hot dogs, hamburgers, and refreshments will also be available.
The Koa Puna Poker Run will open with registration from 9 to 10 a.m. with the ride starting at 10:30 a.m.
Registration is $20 per bike and $10 per passenger. A limited run patch is available along with prizes and other contests.
