The Kauai Parkinson’s Disease Support group and Teva Neuroscience are hosting a luncheon on July 18 at Regency at Puakea. Guest speaker Sherrie Gould, a nurse practitioner at the Scripps Movement Disorder clinic in La Jolla, Calif., will give a presentation on living well with Parkinson’s disease.
Gould is the founder of Summit4stemcell, an organization that raises awareness of non-embryonic stem cell research for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
Lunch and the presentation are $10 per person.
