Here’s your chance to go for a run at the Pacific Military Range Facility.
The PMRF sunset 5K run/walk is 5:30 p.m. July 19 at Shenanigans at the base.
All pre-registered runners will receive a T-shirt and the top overall male/female runners will receive a $25 Shenanigans gift certificate. There will also be age group awards.
The race will start and finish at Shenanigans restaurant. When the running is over, visitors are welcome to enjoy the beach and awesome view of Niihau in the distance. There will be a free movie, too.
To receive a shirt, register by Thursday. Active duty/immediate family can sign-up for free at the Fitness Center. Non-active duty the fee is $5 plus the active.com registration fee of $3.25.
To get to PMRF, follow Highway 50 west, turn left at mile marker 30. Show identification at the security gate and you’ll be directed to the parking area.
