The 2014 Game Plan Kauai Sports Camp for youth ages 4 to 12 will host four camps July 7-11 at sites in Kalaheo and Waimea.
Camps will also be held in Lihue and Kapaa July 14-18 organized by Uncharted Waters Sports Ministry.
A registration fee of $35 will provide campers basic sports skills, positive role models, Bible stories, skits and music. Scholarships are also available.
Sports offered at the Kalaheo and Waimea sites include basketball, soccer, cheerleading and flag football. Additionally, Team 45, a program for 4- and 5-year-old children, will be available at the Kalaheo site.
Campers meet at Kato Gym and field, located across the Kalaheo Elementary School, from 9 a.m. until 12:15 p.m. Campers at the Waimea site meet from 3 to 6:15 p.m. at the Waimea Canyon Park field.
Basketball, soccer, cheerleading and flag football will also be offered at the Lihue and Kapaa sites on July 14-18. Kapaa will also offer Team 45.
Participants in the Lihue Sports Camp will meet from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Lihue County Park, and participants in the Kapaa site will meet from 2:30 to 6:15 p.m. at the Wailua Houselots Park.
