We are allowed to ferment, said Jim Guerber of the Kauai Beer Company, who will have its Declaration of Fermentation Day on Thursday (no food trucks), the day before Independence Day.
Happy birthday to Randy Francisco who was enjoying the evening with Sharron Weber and friends when the special Declaration of Fermentation Day shirts arrived (Sandy Poenhelt saw the boxes come rolling in between pie slices).
Larry Feinstein said during the Declaration of Fermentation, people have a special hog from Valerie Kaneshiro roasted over kiawe wood and served up with goodies, or a choice of skewered chicken (kabobs, or yakitori?), or skewered vegetables (this is gotta be kabobs), and goodies.
And with all that partying, there’s no Finally Friday on July 4.
Kudos to Clarence Sales and all the Team Central Basketball ohana on a great Merv Lopes Kauai Hoops Classic tournament which was spread out over three sites and featured some great basketball!
