Kudos to Meghann Matsuda, owner of Red Eye Clothing, on another exciting body boarding event at Shipwreck’s over the weekend.
Kristy Kinimaka of Live Laugh Aloha was there with her newest additions and Laurie Cicotello did a great job with the national anthem (Meghann said they only got asked five minutes before having to perform). Lani Costido of Anahola performed a medley of Tahitian numbers and is looking ahead to the Heiva i Kauai coming up later in the summer at the Kapaa Beach Park.
Bev Brody (she was checking out the sustainability event at KCC) said the Mayor-a-thon has already received more than 400 registrations since starting last week. That means, if you want a T-shirt, you gotta sign up, now at www.getfitkauai.com!
Kudos to Diann Hartman and her committee on another successful Bark for Life Saturday at Kilohana. Rae Hiramoto was helping with the logistics until the rains came. But the event moved smoothly.
