LIHUE — State Department of Human Services supervisor Priscilla Badua, Kumu Hula Leinaala Pavao Jardin and County of Kauai Managing Director Nadine Nakamura will be honored at this year’s annual YWCA Kauai Na Wahine Alakai Women’s Leadership Award dinner for their community contributions.
This year, the dinner will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Courtyard by Marriott at Coconut Beach in Kapaa.
Individual tickets, which include the dinner itself and admission to the event, are $75 and can be purchased on the YWCA Kauai website at: www.ywcakauai.org/kauai-events/womens-leadership-award. Donations can also be made to YWCA Kauai on the nonprofit’s website.
All proceeds from the dinner benefits YWCA Kauai’s new Women’s Center on Hardy Street in Lihue and the expansion of community services.
