Judy Capertina of Haole Girl Croissants will be celebrating her first anniversary of being in business Saturday at the Kauai Community Market at the Kauai Community College campus. She said she’ll probably have something special for that day, celebrating how far she’s come since arriving here as a pastry chef for the St. Regis Hotel in Princeville. And, if you’re lucky, maybe Ara Metzner (she did a great job with the Sticky Buns, Wednesday) might be there, too.
Bruna Stude was raving about the success of galerie 103’s last recycling fashion show and Brolie even had his fashion left over from the First Saturday event. Melissa McFerrin-Warrack (the Kauai Community Market is her “second baby”) said the models were rocking out to the Latin beat after the show.
OK, so with the long weekend ahead, congratulations to ALL the high school graduates on your achievements, and best wishes for a great road ahead!
