The Kilauea Neighborhood Association and the businesses of Kilauea invite everyone to celebrate Kilauea Day In The Park on Saturday, May 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Kilauea Ball Park.
“This is an annual event that celebrates Kilauea’s diverse plantation community and to meet new members of the community,” said Yoshito L’Hote, President of the Kilauea Neighborhood Association.
The day’s events will kick off with the unveiling of the new Kilauea Town sign at 9 a.m. at the entry to Kilauea Town on Kolo Road. Later, bring the family to the park for a fun day of activities with a waterslide and horse rides, as well as food and informational booths including the Kauai Fire Department’s “Sparky” Trailer.
A full day of entertainment is lined up from hula to rumba with the Mango Brothers, Halau O Hanalei, Rumba de Fuego, and others. At 5 p.m. our featured artists, Leokane Pryor, CJ Helekahi, and Boise Kawaiaea from Hana, Maui, accompanied by Halau Palaihiwaokaipuwai will be bring the event to a close under sunset skies.
