A “Let’s Bon Dance” discussion will take place at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Hanapepe Public Library meeting room.
The Hanapepe Public Library and the Kauai Soto Zen Temple in Hanapepe are partnering to present the series of videos and discussions on the local Japanese community in Hawaii.
Patterned after the Japanese American National Museum’s acclaimed exhibit “From Bento to Mixed Plate,” the series started in March. Thursday’s event will not show a video, but will be discussion only. The event is free.
