Mahalo Alice Parker for letting the Camper know the difference between the Kilauea Lighthouse field trip and the 46th anniversary of the Lihue Senior Center. Also mahalo to Jennie Yukimura (she’s one of 10 over 90-year-olds who still is active)
Mahalo Alice Parker for letting the Camper know the difference between the Kilauea Lighthouse field trip and the 46th anniversary of the Lihue Senior Center. Also mahalo to Jennie Yukimura (she’s one of 10 over 90-year-olds who still is active) who left a voicemail announcing the event).
Kudos to Frekki Okada on doing a great job hosting the event and all the performers who did a great job representing the variety of ethnic groups which make up the center. Marion Ogata said there are about 100 active members at the center and almost everyone came to the party.
Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said the Saturday Kauai Grown/Kauai Made event will follow the same Kauai Community Market schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kauai Community College.
This leaves lots of time to get to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life which starts at 5 p.m. at the soccer fields adjacent to the Hanapepe Stadium.
