Kenny Miyoshi and Calvin Fukushima of Masa’s Shave Ice will be having their unique Hawaiian plate (no kalua pig or lomi salmon) with Kenny’s poi on at the First Saturday in Kapaa. Masa’s parks between Pono Market and Larry’s Music, and if you want some, go early before they sell out.
Jason Fujinaka is thrilled because he’ll be emceeing the Culinary Institute of the Pacific Gourmet Spring Gala, Friday (Laura Haack said they can’t play because it’s the opening night for KPAC’s Seussical) at the Kauai Community College.
