Congratulations to the KauaiBots team who earned the Creativity Award for its design, use and strategy of play for the Nav 6 which was created by Control Mentor, Scott Libert.
Charlene Steuri said work is already starting for the next build, now that this year’s season ended at the Stan Sheriff Center at the University of Hawaii.
Laurie Ho found some meringue cookies with chocolate chips created by Marilyn Harker at the Kauai Community Market (Sandi Kato-Klutke is getting excited about the upcoming Garden Fair).
Melissa McFerrin-Warrack wasn’t there, but Elvrine Chow is getting excited about the May Day lei, and Liz Hahn had some Son of Flag (being developed for purple) specimen on sale — congratulations on the wins (19 of 24 fish winning) at the Golden State show.
Waimea coaches Teddy and Tammy Perreira had to come over for their doubleheader softball game (congratulations on winning the Round 1 title!), went home to the Westside for a quick shower and back to Vidinha for the Kauai Youth Football game.
