Congratulations to Daniel Hamada and Kapaa High School on being the recipient of an American Savings Bank $10,000 award.
Mahalo to Debbie Lacaden and her cafeteria staff on creating the ono cinnamon buns (no raisins so they’re not snails), and Kaleo Carvalho for jumping in to help PCNC Nancy Borilez prepare the buns for the guests.
Mr. Hamada said when he was at Eleele Elementary School, the cafeteria created Pan Laulau as its specialty since the luau leaves came from the farmers in Hanapepe Valley.
Good luck to James Masarro and the Kauai Bots at the Pacific Regional! Charlene Steuri had Erin Rynda and Elizabeth Makizuru on the radio and even William “Bill” Arakaki and coach Blanche dropped in on the mahalo event Sunday at the Kukui Grove Center.
JC Crouch invites people to check out the Prince Kuhio open house Saturday when Ron Wiley (how is his quarter drive going?) hosts the event at Kauai Harley-Davidson.
