Wayne Zebsda, Karen Brown and a host of other artists gathered at galerie 103 for the opening of the “PRINT Paper + Sandbox” exhibit featuring works Saturday night during the Kukuiula Art Walk, hosted by The Shops at Kukuiula.
The theme carried over to SMallART, located in the “galerie 103 ANNEX” featuring small format paintings, constructions, and art objects which challenge conventional limits and techniques.
“I have some pots in the SMallART show,” said Roberta Griffith, a multi-media artist whose “Stuck in the Sand” anchors the floor of the main gallery. “I also have a drawing of my grandson at the Kauai Society of Artists show at the Kukui Grove.”
Artists of all media took advantage of the shopping center’s “Kauai in Focus” to portray their interpretations of the island’s beauty.
The Kukuiula Art Walk is hosted on the second Saturday of each month by The Shops at Kukuiula from 6 to 9 p.m.
