KOKE’E – Rescue officials have confirmed that an ultralight crash that occurred in Kokee this morning has resulted in at least one fatality.
The identity of the victim is not yet known. It is also not known at this time if other victims may have been involved in the crash.
Police Dispatch was notified of a fire in the area at around 7:50 a.m. Following an initial investigation it was revealed that the fire was a result of an ultralight crash.
Firefighters from the Waimea fire station are on scene with additional assistance en route to the area.
