Waimea High School celebrated National Career and Technical Education Month by honoring four business partnerships during its Waimea Alumni and Friends Foundation carnival last week.
The CTE department at Waimea High School honored representatives of Ishihara Market, Kauai Community College, the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, and the Waimea High School Class of 1963 for their contribution to the school and its students.
“These business partnerships have given their time, their generosity, and their continued support to the Digital Media program, the Culinary program, and the Graphic Arts progrm at Waimea High School,” said Joyce Evens of the Waimea High School Digital Media program. “The school’s CTE department hopes to continue this recognition of business partnerships, annually.”
