Marissa Sandblom was presenting the Department of Education with more than 450 copies of Stacey Hayashi’s “Journey of Heroes” and invited me to the presentation.
Marlene Duarte and Mia Ako of Kauai Economic Development Board were super busy, hosting the dairy people at the membership meeting Tuesday and then the Financing Your Farm workshop Wednesday at Kauai Community College.
Jerry Ornellas was at both events as was John Latkiewicz of the Hawaii Small Business Development Center (their office is in the Lihue Plantation building).
