Debbie Lindsey came to visit Coach Dino Pabre Saturday during the KIF qualifying swim meet. Dino was bouncing around between the KIF wrestling matches and the swim meet. Saturday, the action moves to the YMCA pool for the KIF Swim Championships starting at 10 a.m.
Wendy Tannery (she said Dino needed help with the audio Saturday) was having all kinds of trouble Sunday, but through the help of Good Samaritan paniolo, got the horse down to the Kauai All Girl Rodeo Association rodeo.
Mike Teruya was busy photographing the rodeo. He said he’s doing a 90th birthday party at Hanamaulu Cafe (East Kauai Lion Harvey Kinoshita is bagging out early from cleaning eyeglasses for a shindig for Wayne Miyake).
Ashley Ulanday said the sure way to get Paradise Grinds is to visit the Friday Night Art Walk in Hanapepe where the lunchwagon will be parked. Otherwise, she’s busy with catering.
Ron Horoshko said Birdie’s at the Kukuiolono Park is looking like a museum with all the new artwork.
