Kilauea Elementary School got a facelift of sorts and the Hawaii Foodbank, Kauai Branch earned $10,000 on Saturday.

Thirty-two members of the Rotary Club of Hanalei Bay were joined by some friends as the group worked to refurbish and paint two storage sheds at the Kilauea Elementary School.

Additionally, a classroom building’s eaves and covered walkway was pressure cleaned as part of the club’s Weinberg Foundation Friends Program.

The club will present the check next week.
