KAPAA — The 11th annual East Side Family Summit is scheduled Saturday, Feb. 1. The free event will be at Kapaa High School from 1 to 5 p.m.
With its focus on strengthening and supporting families, the summit offers musical entertainment and free food for more than 1,000 people.
The Kapaa High School courtyard will be transformed for the summit, with over 60 family and community service providers, a performance stage and activities for the whole family.
Volunteers from the East Kauai Drug Prevention Education Team coordinate the summit resources for the event. Anybody interesting in helping out or donating should contact Bridget Arume, 639-0284.
