PUHI — Less than a week after his visit to The White House for an invitation only workshop, University of Hawaii Interim President David Lassner will be the featured guest at an upcoming Kauai Chamber of Commerce event.
From 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Kauai Community College will host the “Business After Hours” affair which will be open to the public.
Anyone hoping to learn more about Lassner’s outlook on education or hear about his trip to Washington D.C. should sign-up through KCC.

Cost is $20 per person for chamber members and $25 for guests and those who pay at the door that night.
The event will be held at the KCC One Stop Center. Pupus and beverages will be served and door prizes awarded.
Lassner is a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Hawaii and holds a Ph.D. in communication and information sciences from the University of Hawaii at Manoa as well as an AB summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa in economics.
