Golfers are welcome to join the Hawaii Lodging & Tourism, Kauai chapter at its ninth annual golf tournament at the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club Jan. 25.
The tournament will play as a four-person scramble with a maximum handicap of 24 for men and 36 for women. Team handicap will equal 10 percent of the combined handicap of players.
In addition to vying for top team scores, golfers can participate in contests including longest drive and closest to the pin.
A Get Into the Game program to benefit the Kauai Junior Golf program is available on the Par 3 Holes 5 and 8 where for $10, a drive landing on the green will give the participating golfer eligibility for a drawing.
Registration is $130 per player, or $520 for a team and includes green fees, golf cart, a continental breakfast at registration and lunch.
Lunch reservations for non-golfers are also being welcomed for $25.
Proceeds will support the HLTA Kauai Chapter Education programs and scholarship funds.
