Kapaa basketball guards Shai-Anne Abigania and Ariel Cummings not only share their love for basketball, they share shoes. Ariel said they both wear the same size shoes and green and pink are their favorite colors so when they got shoes, they simply swapped a shoe apiece. Look for them Friday when they host Kauai High School at the Bernice Hundley Gym.
Koloa boy Lloyd Sako got to celebrate in his hometown Wednesday during the Koloa Times Big Save grand reopening where he served as architect on the project. He was catching up on things with Ron Sakoda of Ron’s Electric who was one of the subcontractors on the project.
Congratulations to Bob Stout, Royden Yamamoto, Marina Nojima, and all the ohana on a great job with the store and its renovations! After not seeing Ralph Suniga at the football games, it was nice to see him at the festivities.
OK, it’s off to Kapaa and watch the fancy footwear from the Warrior guards.
