Kudos to Rob Miller, Patrick Ching, Larry Rivera and Mazzarella (Marilyn Miller’s maiden name) on a great painting party Sunday at the Kinipopo Shopping Village.
Rob said he’s got some work at the Palms Gallery which will be featuring “Tropical Cubism” by Stephanie Britt this Saturday at The Shops at Kukuiula Art Walk night from 6 to 9 p.m.
Melissa McFerrin-Warrack said on the other side of the powerful work, Ann Punohu will make the journey from Kapaa to speak at galerie 103 on her Nalima Kahiko a Keia Ka La Hou.
That is also powerful — especially the hand-written manuscripts — and pairs nicely with Tom Lieber’s work in “Laa.”
OK, time to get back to sports. Lois Keamoai said this is the Waimea week since there’s soccer in Hanapepe, boys basketball at the Clem Gomes on Wednesday, JV soccer in Hanapepe on Thursday, and KIF swim and boys basketball in Waimes on Saturday.
And yes, Heidi Herr is still accepting registration for the rainbow-hued event benefiting the American Cancer Society Feb. 8 at the North Vidinha fields.
