PHOENIX — For the second consecutive week, Chaminade guard Kuany Kuany has been named as the Hawaii Tourism Authority Pacific West Conference Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week. It’s the third Freshman of the Week honor for the Melbourne, Australia, native this season.
In the Silverswords’ lone game during the week against No. 7 Dixie State on Saturday, Kuany had 18 points and nine rebounds.
He is averaging 9.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per contest while shooting 50.7 percent from the floor.
Also, Lee Bailey was named to the PacWest Final Five list for his 27-point performance against the Red Storm.
