Happy birthday to Jeni Kaohelaulii who celebrated her special day ahead of the Turkey Trot (great job to Jeni, Tommy Noyes, and Dr. Randy Blake for spearheading the event) Thursday morning!
Mark Oyama (Happy Birthday!) had his entire Mark’s Place and Contemporary Flavors Catering crew out at the All Saints Gym for the Kapaa Interfaith Association Thanksgiving luncheon where Dimples Kano, Marge Akana and a whole lot of other people were volunteering Wednesday at the Salvation Army luncheon.
Vanessa Duarte, Shanelle Martin, Kathy Melchor and Amy Smith were pumping food out at the Seaview Terrace Thanksgiving morning at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, but still had time for smiles for guests.
And mahalo to Marisa Hurley and her children, Olivia and Zack, for taking care of the Poipu lifeguards and firemen (they were busy responding to an incident at Brennecke’s).
