Kenneth J. Mathews
Kenneth J. Mathews passed away on Nov. 14, 2013 at home in Yucaipa, CA at the age of 62. Born on March 2, 1951 in Storm Lake, IA. He was an Electrician.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jack and Clara Mathews; brother Bobby Mathews and Bruce Gleason.
He is survived by his wife Kathie Gaughan Mathews, daughter Jenny Clare and son Ryan James Mathews

Anthony Baptiste Sr.
Anthony Baptiste Sr. of Casper, Wyoming passed away on Nov. 8, 2013 at the age of 52. Born on May 19, 1961 in Lihue.
Preceded in death by his parents Richard and Marian Baptiste Sr., and sister Darlene Ruiz. He is survived by his brother Richard Baptiste Jr., Rodney Baptist; and children Alana Baptiste, Angelica Baptiste, Anthony Jr. Baptiste, Candace Baptiste, Ashley Baptiste, Aaliyah Baptiste and his girlfriend Jennifer and 8 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the Holy Cross Church, Kalaheo from 9 a.m. Casual attire is suggested.
Elaine Kaukani
Elaine Leilani Kaukani of Waimea passed away on Nov. 26, 2013 at home at the age of 92. Born on Nov. 16, 1921 in Waimea, Kauai she was a Cafeteria Baker at Waimea High and Elementary School.
She is survived by her sons, Rufus (Lucille) Kaukani of Kailua, Oahu, and Richard (Charlotte) Kaukani of Riverside, CA; daughters, Roberta Kaohi and Roseline Kaukani, both of Waimea, Kauai; brothers, Robert Blackstad of Missouri, Joseph Blackstad of Kauai, and Stanley Blackstad of Kailua; sister, Florence Kajiwara of Waimea; twelve grandchildren; thirty-seven great-grandchildren; twenty-five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 from 9:30 am – 11:00 am at the Kekaha Latter Day Saints Church. Service will begin at 11:00 am, followed by burial at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire.

Byron Hahn-Morin
Byron Hahn-Morin of Waimea passed away on Nov. 13, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 21. Born on Dec. 5, 1991 in Lihue, Kauai, he was a Cook at Red Salt at Koakea Resort.
He is survived by his parents, Elizabeth Hahn and Ronald Morin; brothers, Aaron Habermann of Poipu and Steven Hahn-Morin of Rockland, CA; sister, Michele (Jason) Ray of Portland, OR; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life for Byron Hahn-Morin will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013 from 10 am – 5 pm at the Kekaha Neighborhood Center. Casual attire. For further info, please call Liz Hahn at 482-0133.

Dadly “Bobo” Keakealani Ham Young of Hanalei passed away in Wainiha, Kauai on Nov. 22, 2013, at the age of 61. He was born in Wainiha, Kauai on May 7, 1952, and was a landscaper.
Preceded in death by his mother, Catherine Tai Hook-Pfeffer; father, Richard Ham Young and sister, Keli’i Ham Young.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Ham Young of Hanalei; sons, Makana Ham Young and Ian Ham Young; daughter, Hayley (Santo) Ham Young-Giorgio; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Rick (Denise) Ham Young of Wainiha, Warren (Susan) Ham Young of Princeville, Shaindlin (Kris) Ham Young of Wainiha; numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013, at Pinetrees, Hanalei with visitation from 11 a.m. and services celebrated at 1 p.m.

Reynold Kinoshita
Reynold Tadami Kinoshita of Kapaa passed away on Nov. 25, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 45. Born on August 9, 1968 in Gardena, California, he was a Chemical Applicator at Kukui’ula Golf Course
He is survived by his wife, Gaylen Kinoshita; son, Kerry-John Kinoshita of Kapaa; daughter, Tayler Kinoshita of Kapaa; step-son Gavin De Silva of Kapahi; mother, Laurie Suganuma of Wailua Homesteads; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Celebration of Reynold’s Life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 at Lydgate Park, back of Soccer Field at 11 am, with visitation from 10 – 11 am. Casual attire is suggested.

Miguel Constantino
Miguel G. Constantino of Kaumakani passed away on Nov. 27, 2013 at his home at the age of 100 and 6months. Born on May 8, 1913 in Tarlac, Philippines, he was a Machine operator with Olokele Sugar Company.
Preceded in death by his parents, Bernabe and Tuna Constantino; and daughter Felicidad Constantino.
He is survived by his wife, Julita C. Constantino; sons, Agelio (Lolita) Constantino of Kaumakani and Benedicto (Venida) Constantino of Hanapepe; daughter, Rosalina Flores of Las Vegas; twenty grandchildren; sixty great-grandchildren; thirty-six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 11 am, with visitation from 9 – 11 am. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire.

John Pai
John Jong Son Pai of Kapaa passed away at home on Nov. 12, 2013, at the age of 84. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii on September 24, 1929, and retired as an accountant with Inter-Island Resorts.
Preceded in death by his parents, Yong Sun Pai and Elizabeth Daisy Aiana Pai and 2 grandchildren.
He is survived by four sons, John Paul Pai, Michael (Lisa) Pai, Jason Pai, George Pai; three daughters, Mona (John) Neill, Alethea (William) Konanui, Sara Pai; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Hariet Brott; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at Sacred Heart’s Church in Pahoa, Hawaii with visitation from 9:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Private inurnment at a later date. Aloha attire suggested and flowers welcomed.
