Melissa McFerrin said they were celebrating three holidays, Wednesday at The Shops at Kukuiula — the Koloa Elementary School kids’ holiday gift bags are in full swing, Thanksgiving (Sandy Poehnelt was going crazy making pies), and Chanukah (it’s been a couple of hundred years since this happened said Rabbi Michoel Goldman).
Aletha Thomas, Morris Wise and Chris Spinosa will be doing its “Merry Little Trunk Show,” Friday at the Ha Coffee Bar on Rice Street featuring Hula Baby Biscotti, Ko Baking and Monkeypod Jam from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday … great way to unwind after a big Black Friday.
Sara Miura (she was serving pumpkin pie at the Salvation Army lunch) said Deja Vu will have its specials on at midnight at the former Blockbusters area.
And what’s the holidays without a parade? Check out the Kauai Christmas Parade Saturday at the Kukui Grove Center.
